What a beautiful and convenient cottage! It was well equipped, clean, and situated in a lovely location. The design was charming and added to the overall cozy atmosphere. Our week exploring the peak district based here was wonderful, and we couldn't find a single flaw. The cottage was the perfect size for two, nice and warm with plenty of options for heat, and lots of light options too. The bed was comfy! The location of The Old Stable was perfect, as once we parked up, we didn't need to drive anywhere until check-out. It was close to all the best walks, such as Jacob's Ladder to Kinder Scout, Mam Tor, and more. The cottage was always immaculate and organized, and it had everything we needed.
We didn't have a car, so getting supplies required some planning.

The cozy and welcoming ambience of The Old Stable made me feel right at home. The tasteful decor and comfortable seating areas provided a lovely atmosphere to relax and unwind. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The well-lit pathways and easy-to-navigate layout made it convenient for me to move around without any difficulty.
My only wish for a better vacation for senior people would be to have more assistance available. Sometimes, it would have been helpful to have staff members nearby who could offer support or guidance when needed.
